As abstract expressionism is spontaneous and an organic process, it always has the elements of mystery and surprise. Though it carries no logic or reality, when creative and sensitive mind is married to spontaneity, I find the logic, beauty and the comfort. The artworks are done with acrylic medium on gallery quality stretched canvas. My painting style is a blend of traditional skillset of realism with the sheer energy of abstract expressionism.

Color being the universal language and one of the main compositional elements here, my spontaneous yet thoughtful approach which includes paying attention to my inner sense regarding color interactions and mood. I have used Knife as a tool extensively to get the desired texture. In the series ‘Hues of Megh Malhar', I explore the soulful amalgamation of music with art and how it enhances both the art forms. My pure intuitive approach which is very much reciprocal with my utmost connection with music and nature. The emotions connected to the nostalgic memories of monsoon and childhood are reflected/ interwoven throughout the works.
