In this artwork, I wanted to represent the raw beauty of nature. This impressive charcoal portrait of a lioness is intended to be the same size as the real animal.
The attention to detail can be seen in the different textures of the fur in the body of the animal, the proportions, the use of the light, it all gives a very realistic appearance. At the same time, the texture of the paper allows for a sandy kind of abstract background that allows for the main subject to really be highlighted.
This artwork is been done following a very specific technique that requires different steps of refining the sketch and then the application of charcoal powder. The use of the eraser allows to bring back the lights and the white charcoal is used for the last highlights. I've been always in love with nature and animals. The drawing allows for that part of myself that desires to be closer to the subject, to the landscape and to nature. I love to take photos that I can use later on for my sketches.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 2-4 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 5-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
