Flower Oil Painting

Working from a carefully selected reference photograph, the artist translated the regal elegance of ruffled purple irises into a captivating oil painting. The composition showcases rich, velvety shades of violet and lavender, accented by striking golden-yellow beard patterns that draw the eye deep into the heart of the blossoms. Through delicate layering and nuanced brushwork, the artist captured the intricate, ruffled texture of the petals as they catch the light.

Each curve and fold is thoughtfully articulated to give the floral cluster a strong sense of three-dimensional movement and organic grace. Set against a soft, atmospheric green background with gentle bokeh effects, the vibrant purple tones truly stand out. Housed in a clean, natural wood floating frame, this piece offers a timeless botanical study celebrating the quiet drama and structural beauty of nature.
