The sky is pink. or is it? My sky encompasses a myriad of colours, blue and pinks and hues of brown. This is my newest alcohol ink artwork portraying the northern lights. This takes me on a trip down memory lane of the time that my daughters and i sat under the light of a thousand stars and the northern lights while roasting marshmallows and sharing haunted stories. Pouring in these emotions of nostalgia and love, in my piece with colourful clouds. My different colour schemes used in this was to represent the many colours of the beautiful night sky with black bold trees complementing it. The grey and white merge at the bottom represents the light of shining stars on a starry night. This piece brings together any dull wall and brightens it up.
