Los Angeles Photography Print

'Touching Sun' was captured when Dominik was exploring Los Angeles in June of 2023. This piece is part of the ‘States 23’ Collection. Dominik captured these shots while he was exploring LA on a photo walk. He has produced his favorite photographs from this journey to create this collection. This photo was captured as Dominik was walking from Santa Monica to Venice Beach.

He wanted to photograph the beautiful vibe and aesthetic of Los Angeles. He loved the vibrant orange and brown tones painting the picture. The palm trees are an icon in themselves in Los Angeles. The focus of this picture was allowing the image to create a sense of relaxation which correlates with the city itself. Dominik felt he wanted to capture an image that expressed how he felt through his visit to Los Angeles. Dominik sat and waited for the late afternoon as he wanted to capture the sun touching the palm trees. A beautiful moment captured through patience. Dominik Zky - ‘More than just a Photo’.
