Islamic Acrylic Painting

TREES OF JANNAH - Divine Islamic recitations believed to guarantee the reciter trees in their garden in heaven. This artwork has an acrylic painted background in a pebble pattern on the canvas. The Arabic/Islamic calligraphy pieces are wooden cutouts that are primed and painted with different zentangle patterns. The wooden cutouts are finally covered with resin and mounted onto the canvas. I have always been fascinated by intricate patterns that are seen in zentangle art & mandalas. For me, drawing something intricately is a therapeutic & stress-relieving exercise. I seem to draw my inspiration from anyone & anywhere! I use all kinds and brands of markers n paints & paint pens on paper, canvas, wood, ceramic, resin, etc. to create exclusive artworks I feel honored that my pieces occupy a place of pride in some homes. I self-learned these art forms in 2015 & have since been practicing them & bettering myself every day.
