Cityscape Acrylic Painting

Varanasi is one of my special works, which took me more than a year to complete and is very close to my heart. I painted it years before I visited this place. The powerful aura, resonating sounds, chanting, and vibrations in the air… make you feel that you are in another world…

My idea was to incorporate all these emotions, feelings, and a state of trance in this painting. It’s beautiful how a painting can hold not just time and effort but also longing and intuition. Creating something before experiencing it in real life adds a kind of magic, like your soul already knew the place before your feet ever touched the ground. Is there a place that makes you want to travel?
