Flower Oil Painting

Renuka’s tulip painting reflects her deep connection with nature and her unique process of turning moments she photographs into art. Inspired by tulips she encountered during her travels, she first captured their beauty through her camera before bringing the memory into her studio and onto the canvas. She is drawn to the elegance of tulips-their delicate petals, graceful forms, and beautiful variations of colour. Rather than simply reproducing the photograph, Renuka interprets the flowers through her own artistic language, exploring colour, texture, light, and movement. For her, every photograph can hold the beginning of a painting and every painting can preserve a moment that nature never intended to last. Through these tulips, she transforms a fleeting travel memory into a lasting expression of beauty, allowing the viewer to experience nature through her eyes.

Renuka Sanjeev is a self-taught Indian artist based in the UAE whose creative florals, landscapes and figurative pieces utilize rich textures and vibrant colors to transform her observations of the environment into soulful artistic narratives.
