Mixed Media Painting

A conversation that falls short of expectations. A cycle that repeats itself due to the awkwardness of opening up to those who knew how to understand the pain without causing hurt. A hard chat is put off while some madmen snap a photo; the reflection appears in the lake water- water consumed while waiting to be understood. In a fit of rage, one bites into a branch growing at the water's edge, linking the greenery to the morning's first wave. There is hope because there is green after the water. Where there is green there is water, where there is water a mountain grows tomorrow. And the conversation seems to begin to exceed expectations; he who does not govern his wound has no master. And the tide calms because it has no doubt. Something grows that has no name, what once seemed impossible is created, no one knows what it is about; a petal fell where there were no branches before. Vision marks where one believes to love, and if the reason for being has no beginning, how is it possible that no one claims it?

What once resembled water now hides behind the trees; a sky of mirrors reflects in the distance, a bird that seems to be at home now breeds so that everyone may have wings for eyes. Technical Note & Materials: A mixed media artwork created on a fully handcrafted support. The wooden stretcher and canvas were built by hand by the artist, followed by the application of a textured stucco base that gives the background depth and structural character. The organic shapes are crafted using preserved artificial moss, meticulously applied to provide a three-dimensional and tactile quality that directly engages with the artwork's core concept.
