On our way to the Kazbegi mountain range, a traffic jam forced us to stop midway. We stepped out onto a low mountain ridge, where lush green grass stretched endlessly, dotted with tiny yellow flowers peeking through. As we walked toward the peak, the noise faded, replaced by a deep, peaceful silence. The slow wind hummed through the valley, carrying the crisp, refreshing chill of the highlands. I wanted to capture this quiet magic—the way the mountains seemed to whisper their secrets. Using a special nib painting technique, I textured each blade of grass, wrapping the landscape in a soft, flowing rhythm. This piece is not just a painting, but a memory of nature’s stillness, where time slows and the mountains speak in hushed tones.
