Cityscape Oil Painting

Winter, nature, serenity and the environment amaze me forever. Specifically, winter is among the most magical seasons of the year. It offers abundant joy for its soothing breeze and the chill throughout. During my vacation to Amsterdam, while on a stroll in a quiet town side, I was spellbound by one of the finest evenings and the vintage car parked along the street.

The beauty of the clouds and the soft sun rays, the trees behind and the old heritage structures swept me immensely. This inspired me to depict the beauty and brought this out into my painting. All the magical feelings of the surrounding mesmerized me and encouraged me to bring out my imagination in the artwork.

The time taken to complete this was about a month to etch the finer details into the painting. In view of sharing the emotions and the happiness that brought me immense satisfaction, I wanted to convey the same feelings through this painting while connecting with the viewers. The painting was done with Oil on Canvas, and is size 70 CMS X 100 CMS which makes it perfect for living and dining rooms. The mood of the winter has been captured in this painting which is evident throughout.
