Abstract Mixed Media Painting

This textured artwork is the second piece in the artist’s first ongoing series – The Broken Series. The red speaks to the cellular core of every living being and the gold represents the fire burning in ebbs and flows within each one of us. The artist was inspired to name this piece Worthy, based on the song “paper thin” by singer songwriter Nemahsis. When you are plagued with doubt about your worthiness, the painting with its saturated red hue encourages you to draw strength, passion and vitality when you look at it. Deeride is an abstract artist currently based in Dubai. With a love for nature and color, she explores her creativity through abstract paintings and mixed media pieces on canvas.
