This is a Patachitra-style painting(Heritage painting form of India, Odissa) on canvas depicting Krishna with Gopis below a Kadamba tree by a serene lake with swans and lotus. The Patachitra style emphasizes storytelling through intricate details and symbolism. Every element in the painting from flora fauna Krishna and the Gopis—is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of spiritual connection and the timeless beauty of devotion in Indian mythology. As the theme suggests, amidst the natural splendour stands Lord Krishna, depicted with blue skin with peacock feathers in his hair, captivatingly playing his flute. Surrounding Krishna are the Gopis, each portrayed with graceful movements and colorful attire.. Their expressions convey devotion and adoration with admiration, their eyes reflecting love and longing.

In the foreground, lake symbolizes purity and serenity, enhancing the overall aura of divine love and harmony in the painting. As an Artist Intricate and complex patterns of heritage art forms of India always mesmerized and inspired me to learn and hone my skills. Traditional Patachitra is done on cloth using natural vegetable colors, however to give a contemporary look and feel , I have chosen well primed canvas to draw and paint all subjects with delicate details using rigor brush and coated with thick varnish for everlasting shine
