Arabic Calligraphy Acrylic Painting

The title of the artwork is Sureh Al Fatihah. I used acrylic, textures and gold leaf on canvas. This artwork is a mixture of seascape and landscape. One side it shows the flow of water and other side the rough land with stones. Sureh Al Fatihah is written with gold leaf on canvas. This Surah is named Al-Fatihah because of its subject matter. Fatihah is that which opens a subject or a book or any other thing. In other words, Al-Fatihah is a sort of preface. Surah Al-Fatihah is one of the very earliest revelations to the Holy Prophet. As a matter of fact, we learn from authentic traditions that it was the first complete Surah that was revealed to Muhammad (Allah's peace be upon him). Before this, only a few miscellaneous verses were revealed which form parts of Alaq, Muzzammil, Muddaththir, etc. The dimensions of artwork is 60x90cm. The colors are black and gold. Whole sureh is written with gold leaf. All colors are in dark shades. The artwork is stretched on wooden frame. I used cotton canvas I love to play with acrylics, textures and gold/silver leafs. The artwork is horizontal in shape. I love to paint seascapes, oceans, landscapes, infact all my artworks have a touch of this style. The artwork is 100% hand painted and original. This is one of its kind of artwork I have completed this artwork in 2022.
