Deepu Lakshman is an award-winning photographer and visual storyteller with over fifteen years of experience capturing authentic moments and meaningful human emotions. His journey began with wedding photography, where he developed a strong understanding of timing, emotion, and storytelling. Over the years, he expanded his practice into commercial photography, advertising, hospitality, interiors, food, and filmmaking, creating a visual style that blends artistic vision with cinematic storytelling.
Photography is more than a profession for Deepu. It is a lifelong passion that inspires him to find extraordinary stories in ordinary moments. His work focuses on emotion, light, composition, and the connections between people, culture, and everyday life. Each photograph is created with patience and purpose, inviting viewers to pause and experience the story within the frame.
Alongside photography, he has worked as an Associate Director of Photography in the Malayalam film industry and directed the short film Puffs. His selected exhibition includes World Art Dubai 2025, marking an important milestone in his artistic journey. He continues to create photographs that celebrate authentic stories and meaningful connections while pursuing his vision of visual storytelling through both photography and cinema.
