Marya Adnan is a contemporary artist based in Dubai. A graduate of the American University in Dubai with a BFA in Interior Design, she began her career designing residential projects before transitioning into a full-time art practice. During the COVID era, she reignited her childhood passion for painting while completing the Mastery Program from Milan Art Institute, marking a deeply personal turning point in her journey.
Working primarily in acrylics, Marya creates expressive pieces that blend realism with abstraction. Inspired by nature, her work explores themes of serenity, harmony, and emotional depth, transforming spaces into immersive, reflective environments.
Marya has participated in numerous exhibitions across the UAE, including World Art Dubai, RAK Fine Arts Festival, and Al Bader Festival in Fujeirah. Alongside her exhibitions, she undertakes bespoke commissioned works, creating personalized pieces tailored to individual spaces and stories.
