I am a mosaic artist of Indian origin settled in Dubai, UAE for the past 29 years. Art for me is a representation of my being, my experiences and most importantly – it is a form of self-expression. It is my one on one connection with my audience. I have always felt the need to feel flow, texture and dimension in my art so creating mosaic art has been a very gratifying journey for me. I have found my solace with these pieces of whether it be glass, stone or metal and now there is no turning back. My strength is my versatility. I use glass tiles, smalti, stones, wood and metal to design my pieces. I have not restricted myself to any one form of mosaic – I have done traditional borders for tables, flora, portraits, abstracts and many more styles. I continue to diversify my subject range to push the boundaries of what I can communicate through my art.
