Sanniya Adnan (b. 1986, Pakistan) is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist, art therapist, and sustainability advocate. With over 12 years of experience as a professional Fine Artist within the Art industry, her practice reflects a deep reverence for nature and the belief that art serves as both expression and activism.
Her work intricately blends traditional techniques with contemporary narratives, exploring themes of cultural identity, environmental consciousness, and mental well-being. Through expressive and symbolic compositions across diverse mediums, she fosters dialogue around humanity’s connection to nature, healing, resilience, and inclusive societies.
Her artwork is inspired by the richness of cultural heritage, the beauty of nature, and the complexities of human emotion. Combining refined craftsmanship with thoughtful storytelling, she creates intricate and meaningful pieces that reflect themes of resilience, connection, and timeless artistry. Her artistic practice has received international recognition through awards, publications, and exhibitions across the UAE, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She was selected among the Top 12 artists for the Social Art Award Book – Planetary Healing: Blue Tribes for Ocean Health in Berlin (2025), and was recognized among the Top Ten Artists in the TAC Art Award 2023, Imagine the World in 2050. In 2022, she won First Place at the Noon Arts Award, Then and Now, held at Sharjah Ladies Club.
Sanniya’s work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Dubai World Trade Centre during World Art Dubai, 421 Arts Campus in Abu Dhabi, Open Drawing Hall in Barcelona, Boomer Gallery in London, and Camelback Gallery in Scottsdale. Her work has also been featured in international art publications including Power of Colour by Bruxelles Art VUE and The Working Artist Magazine (UK).
