Working as a freelance artist in the UAE, I have a strong love for colour, creating soulful portraits, as well as abstracts in a versatility of style, manifested in watercolour, gouache, glass painting, mosaic, sculpture and acrylic, working in transparent layers, as well as thick heavy impasto. I graduated with a Master in Fine Art from B.H.U in Varanasi, taught art for several years in Lucknow, before moving to UAE, where I continued to teach it, until in 2012 I started to focus entirely on creating paintings. Color has meaning for me; the bright ones are full of life, giving positive energy. Nature and its beauty never cease to fascinate me, and it is a constant source of inspiration. But above all, it is the Faith I believe in that is a driving force and inspiration, giving me incentive to work artistically to create something that can inspire and influence others, in a positive, useful way. It inspires me to focus on the spiritual aspect of being human.
