Yulia Verigina

Yulia Verigina is an accomplished visual artist hailing from Russia, now calling the UAE home for over a decade.Though her professional journey initially led her through the corridors of international economics and the oil industry in her homeland, fate had other plans. Following her family's relocation abroad to support her husband's career, Yulia seized the opportunity to pursue her lifelong passion: Art.

Yulia has always been curious about exploring different forms of creativity. Over the years, she has worked across a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, photography, drama, and filmmaking, with each experience shaping her creative perspective and visual language. She has built her career as an Art Director through a diverse range of projects, contributing to short films, commercials, and educational content.

Yulia has actively participated in several exhibitions throughout her time in Dubai, including:

• "The Artist's Palette" at the Capital Club, DIFC, in November 2017.

• "Ramadanisation" at Ductac, Gallery of Light, in May 2018.

• "Woman in Art" at Gallery Arabesque, Central Park Towers, in March 2019.

• "Light within us" virtual exhibition hosted by Artezaar in October 2020.

• "Year End Exhibition" with ArtSmiley in 2020.

• "DIFC" Art Nights in November 2020.

• 2nd place in National Bank of Fujairah Art Competition

• "DIFC" Art Nights with a live performance in 2022.

• Live performance with gold glitter live painting at World Art Dubai in 2022, 2023, 2024.

• Performance Collective “State of Becoming”, multidisciplinary show, 421 Art Campus, May 2025

These exhibitions have provided her with invaluable opportunities to connect with fellow artists, art enthusiasts, and collectors, while also allowing her to share her creative vision with a wider audience. 

Lately, she further expanded her practice into digital art, embracing innovative opportunities in the field of AI and integrating them into her visual storytelling.
