Working as a freelance artist in Oman and the UAE, Shahla is emerging as a mosaic artist with a unique style by conveying a theme using mosaic, beads, acrylic embossed techniques to give the artwork a life of its own. She began her journey by exploring traditional techniques and regional landscapes, gradually evolving her style to incorporate more complex textures.
Over time, she has transitioned from capturing physical surroundings to expressing deeper spiritual and mystical themes through a unique mix of materials.
She draws inspiration from the variations in nature and the elegance of local architecture. She is also deeply moved by spiritual themes, translating these into vibrant, textured works of art. These inspirations come together to form a body of work that feels both grounded in tradition and uplifted by a personal, imaginative spirit that speaks to the heart of every viewer.
Her work is unique for its ability to blend delicate, layered effects with bold, raised textures that bring the pieces to life. Her style also stands out by combining recognizable cultural themes with a personal, imaginative approach that makes traditional subjects feel fresh and expressive.
