Abstract Acrylic Painting

Arabian Treasure is a unique and tactile abstract painting inspired by the natural beauty of the Arabian Sea. The first layer of the work is created using gesso, which forms the foundation of intricate textures across the canvas. Embedded within the gesso are several small shells, treasures I discovered on a beach in Dubai. These shells bring a personal connection to the piece and serve as a symbolic representation of the Arabian Sea, giving the painting its name, Arabian Treasure. Throughout the composition, I’ve also integrated various fabrics, adding additional texture and depth to the artwork. The interplay of these materials creates a rich, multidimensional experience for the viewer, inviting closer examination of its details. The colors used—gold, beige, grey, blue, and white—are applied intuitively, allowing the composition to evolve naturally as I work.

Each brushstroke and material is chosen freely by hand, resulting in a piece that feels organic and spontaneous. To enhance the intensity and luminosity of the colors, I’ve finished the painting with a coat of varnish. This not only brings out the vibrancy of the piece but also protects it from UV rays and dust, ensuring its longevity. The painting is signed on both the front and the back, marking it as a one-of-a-kind, handmade work of art.
