My painting “Cultural unity” was inspired by the colors and culture of India, because there these two pillars go hand in hand. In a country as diverse and culturally vibrant as India, it is perhaps the common, simple expressions of color that hold together the multitudes of outlooks, lifestyles, and traditions. Colors represent different emotions to people living in various regional, geographical, and religious divides. From the deep orange marigold flowers that bejewel almost every celebration to the deep hues of red that deck up the bride on her most important day. Symbolic colors in India have, over time, become synonymous with religion – an expression of faith and beliefs. In a country where a deep understanding of the prevalent diversity is perhaps the only common thread that ties its people together.

The symbolism of color stands out and controls every aspect of life there, be it religion, politics, festivals, or celebrations. The technique used for my painting is acrylic colors on a canvas, I have used as well palette knife to add some details with a relief. And yeah, the most important it’s the positive energy given by the vibrant colors in my composition, while connecting with my artwork you can see the human's beauty.
