This painting portrays the clash of different colors on the palette. Like in life, we too experience a myriad of conflicting emotions that clash and merge and this is what makes our lives exciting.

This painting is the artist's attempt at depicting this range of vibrancy that makes our lives so colorful. The complementary colors evoke varied expressions for the viewers. The combination of both bright and dull colors in this painting depicts two sides of the coin. Furthermore, the artist used different textures to create 3D effects using palette knife techniques, which gave the paintings more depth and dimension.

The artist draws her inspiration from the Northern Lights while creating this abstract piece of artwork. While the painting is not a direct depiction of the northern lights, the colors are symbolic of the phenomenon. While looking at this particular combination of colors, one is instantly reminded of the Aurora with its dazzling purple-blue skies amidst the mountains.

 The inclusion of the calligraphic inscription in Arabic right under the lights invokes a sense of divinity. It is symbolic of heavenly light illuminating a divine message and gives us a gentle reminder that 'Happiness (and inspiration) can be found in the darkest of times, only if one remembers to turn on the light'.
