Dubai Mixed Media Painting
“City of Gold and Blue” is a mixed-media artwork that celebrates the unique identity of Dubai, where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony. Created with rich textures and layered details, the artwork brings together some of the city’s most recognizable elements, including its iconic skyline, architectural landmarks, desert landscapes, and cultural heritage. The three-dimensional texture adds depth and movement, inviting viewers to explore the artwork beyond the surface. Warm golden tones reflect the spirit of the desert and the city’s remarkable growth, while the blue hues symbolize the surrounding sea and Dubai’s vibrant energy. Each element is carefully composed to tell a story of ambition, resilience, and transformation.
Creating this piece was both exciting and challenging. The biggest challenge was deciding how to compose so many significant elements within a limited space while maintaining balance and harmony. I wanted viewers to experience Dubai as a whole, discovering its many layers and stories within a single artwork. The piece was created using clay, moulding paste, and acrylic colors. Every element was carefully built layer by layer with patience and attention to detail. The textured surfaces were sculpted gradually, allowing depth, dimension, and character to emerge over time. This process required careful planning, as each layer needed to dry before the next could be added. The artwork was created using clay, moulding paste, acrylic colors, and metallic highlights. Acrylic colors were used to bring vibrancy and life to the composition, while metallic colors were carefully applied to highlight key features, adding richness, luminosity, and a sense of grandeur that reflects Dubai’s spirit. The golden tones reflect the warmth of the desert and the city’s remarkable growth, while the textured details symbolize the many layers that make Dubai unique. Through this artwork, I hope to convey not only the visual beauty of Dubai but also its spirit of ambition, resilience, and transformation.
Renuka Sanjeev is a self-taught Indian artist based in the UAE whose creative florals, landscapes and figurative pieces utilize rich textures and vibrant colors to transform her observations of the environment into soulful artistic narratives.

1. Shipping Rates and Charges
Shipping fees for UAE deliveries are displayed at checkout. For international orders, shipping fees are calculated separately based on the destination, package size, and weight, and will be communicated to you for approval before dispatch. All shipping quotes are estimates and may change based on actual dimensions, weight, carrier rates, and delivery details. Artezaar is not liable for discrepancies due to incorrect information provided by you or factors beyond our control.
2. Delivery Timelines
· UAE: Orders are typically delivered within 3-10 business days after payment confirmation.
· International: Orders are typically delivered within 5-30 days after payment confirmation, depending on destination and customs clearance. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
You will receive an email confirmation of your order and payment, and our delivery partners will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time.
3. Billable Weight (Dimensional Weight)
Shipping costs are based on either the actual or dimensional (volumetric) weight of the package, whichever is greater. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the length, width, and height of the package and dividing by a carrier-specific factor.
4. Additional Fees
Additional charges may apply for customs processing, duties, taxes, failed deliveries, returns, waiting times, address corrections, or special packaging requests. You are responsible for covering these costs unless the item is defective or not as described, in which case Artezaar will bear the cost as required by UAE consumer protection law.
If you are unavailable to receive your order after confirming delivery with the courier, and a second delivery attempt is required, an additional fee of AED 38.00 will be charged for re-arranging delivery within the UAE. This fee must be paid to Artezaar via credit card prior to re-delivery.
5. International Shipping
Artezaar offers international shipping on a best-efforts basis. Delivery times may be affected by customs delays or other factors beyond our control. You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees in your country. Artezaar is not liable for lost or returned international shipments due to customs issues or incorrect address information.
6. Shipping Addresses
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. If there are address discrepancies (e.g., incomplete or incorrect address, or residential vs. commercial status), you will be responsible for any correction fees or increased shipping costs. Artezaar is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect address information provided by you.
7. Undeliverable Shipments and Returns
If an order is returned to Artezaar due to incorrect address, failure to collect, or refusal of delivery, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees and re-delivery charges. Artezaar is not liable for the condition or handling of returned goods unless the item is defective or not as described.
8. Packaging
All items are packaged securely for safe delivery. If you require special packaging or premium void filler, additional charges may apply and will be communicated to you before dispatch.
9. Delivery Partners
Artezaar uses trusted delivery partners for all shipments. For international shipments, third-party carriers may be used. Artezaar is not responsible for carrier delays or actions once the package has been handed over to the carrier, except as required by UAE law.
