Abstract Mixed Media Painting
“Pastel Tides” is one of those paintings that came together with a sense of quiet flow. I began by layering texture using modelling paste. There’s something satisfying about building the surface before any colour even touches it.
Once the texture was set, I painted over it using soft pastel tones, blues, blushes, and muted lilacs, letting the colours blend and move gently across the canvas. I wanted the painting to feel like calm waves, slowly rolling in and out. The textured layers gave it depth, and the soft colour palette brought a stillness I connected with while working on it.
Every section overlaps just enough to feel like one moment fades into the next, like a tide coming in, quiet and steady. When I stepped back and looked at it, the name “Pastel Tides” felt right. It captures that feeling of drifting emotionally and visually without being too literal. It’s a gentle, layered piece meant to bring a sense of softness and stillness, whether someone hangs it in a busy or quiet room.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
