This painting came from a quiet, happy place in my heart. I was thinking of that magical moment just after sunrise. when everything glows a little softer, the world holds its breath, and there’s that fresh sense of hope drifting through the air. A peaceful village by the sea, surrounded by fields of wildflowers, where the morning light touches each little home like a warm hug. You can almost hear the soft breeze moving through the grass, the distant sound of waves meeting the shore. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve always belonged there… even if you’ve never been.

To me, it’s more than just a landscape, it’s a feeling—a memory you haven’t made yet. Maybe we’re all just looking for a place that feels like this, soft, safe, and full of light. Somewhere, your heart can rest without trying. Somewhere that feels like home, even if you can’t name it. I painted this with the hope that whoever sees it might pause for a second, take a deep breath, and feel just a little more connected to something gentle and good. Because sometimes, where we belong isn’t a place, it’s a feeling.
