Architecture Mixed Media Painting
My obsession with antique doors, their historical significance, and weathered rustic appearances led me to create this collection where I use various mediums to create unique texture in my art. It reminded me of how there is beauty in decay. How humans getting old comes with so much history, soul, and wisdom. I immediately got inspired to create a collection entitled Doors with Soul. These doors are located in various cities around the world with their own heritage and history.
The collection entitled “Doors With Soul” includes an oil painting, acrylic paint and mixed media on cotton canvases, and colored pencil artwork on acid-free Strathmore 400 series artist paper in various dimensions. Glimmers of Antiquity was inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest that captured this door located in Brazil. I loved the color palette of the green, turquoise, rustic orange, and neutral hues of the wall. I created the backdrop using modeling paste to create texture on the walls. I measured and cut out a gold-colored emergency blanket for the door and glued it on the canvas using an acrylic matte medium. I added fluid acrylic paint to the door and painted the rest using regular acrylic paint for the shading and colors. I also used a damp cloth to wipe away some of the paint on the door to reveal the gold foil underneath, bringing with it an element of mystery and shimmer.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
