Radha-Krishna an epitome of love between Hindu Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha. Radha Krishna's stories are one of the most researched and retold stories. From small children to elders everybody must have heard and even watched these stories. Radha’s story has always been elusive. Devotees chant Radha or take Krishna's name as RadheKrishna which means Radha's Krishna. Generally, Radha and Krishna's names are taken together in one breath as if they are not different but one entity. Radha’s story has always been elusive. She is not mentioned in any of the major texts like Mahabharata, Vishnu Purana, Shrimad Bhagavatam, or Harivansha. Radha was married to Ayan but she was completely devoted to Krishna who was younger than her. If they were brave enough to not conform to social norms, why then didn’t Krishna marry Radha? According to folklore, Radha asked Krishna why he wouldn’t marry her and he said, “You and I are one soul. How can I marry myself? “
