Architecture Acrylic Painting
This is an acrylic painting using the technique of blocked in and glazing before the additional details are added on to the subjects. This painting depicts a typical style of the Arabian door found in the historical area of Old Dubai, Al Seef. In an Arab culture, doors represent a significant meaning of new beginnings and regional traditions with artistic expressions. The artist has used shades of burnt sienna, burnt umber, Naples yellow, black, light blue and cadmium red to paint the door's main planks of hardwood. These shades create a warm, rustic and metallic look. The door which resembles a fort-like structure exudes a royal yet traditional look.
The artist paints the heavy, brick walls in palettes of yellow ochre and Naples yellow, defining each bricks to indicate the major characteristic of an Arab house. The artist adds a stoned, brickwork traditional well at the foreground in shades of white, burnt umber, burnt sienna and black. This water well depicts the traditional way of living and source of essential water supply before modernization took over. With the addition of overhead lights and electrical wirings passing on the walls, the artist gives a viewer subtle hints of modernization behind the traditional dwelling.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
