The Lost River

Amruta Ketkar

This painting is one of my favourite, as it is not painted with regular brushes but with fingertips. It was such a fun experience to explore this way of painting. In this abstract painting one can see a river merging into sea which also looks like a fish tail or a waterfall. The sun, river, sea and sky mixing into each other seamlessly is a representation of how nature's all elements compliment each other and the balance is maintained.  Canvas mounted on wooden frame hence can be easily hung.
