In Digital art you can very easily sketch and change the sketch to your desire. You can easily copy, rotate, stretch, delete part of it. There are just so many options to choose from.
In this blog post, our Artezaar Artist Thomas, who is an expert in digital art will talk about how to use Copy and Paste.
COPY & PASTE
The Copy and Paste function is extremely useful in creating Digital art. All digital art software can do this and it is a primary tool and process.
Here I have created a very quick sketch of a penguin. I then copied it and worked on the copy and refined it to a finished drawing, I can create several of these penguins rotate them and vary the height, width and other characteristics by using the original.
There are several ways to copy an object.
First there is a duplicate layer function. This is usually by right click on the layer and there will be an option to duplicate. You can work on each layer separately
If you want to only copy part of a layer you can use some of the selection tools like lasso, whereby you draw around what you want and then simply hit the copy button. Then you can create new layer and Paste that portion.
Pretty simple right! Go ahead and try it out.
