Artezaar.com – a longstanding dream – was bought to reality by two remarkable women, Leena Kewlani and Teena Thawani, who are positively driven to bring change in the emerging art scene in the region and to make affordable art accessible to everyone!
Artezaar.com was designed by the founders to make it easier for the artists in Dubai to showcase their work not struggle as they did initially. It supports the Artist community in Dubai and UAE. It also brings together the entire art ecosystem, where any type of art buyer can see and buy original paintings online from emerging artists in Dubai and offering artworks to fit budgets, styles and personalities.
Artezaar continues to support artists who want to showcase their work and is also committed to showcasing Youth painting online below 18 years of age, with their youngest artist being only 5 years old. Working hand in hand with the parents, Artezaar believes in nurturing the young future talents of Dubai artists, and giving them a platform to grow and exhibit their work with pride.
The duo decided to quit their jobs in January 2019 and devote themselves to fulfilling their dream of launching www.artezaar.com. After months of dedication, meticulous research, and continuous work, the site took its final shape and was launched in mid-April 2019. It is very user friendly. It has attracted nearly 60 artists and more than 400 works of art.
