My name is Amira Mohamed Abdel Gawad El Batanouny, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at Alexandria University in Egypt. My passion for art began at a young age, particularly in modern visual arts. I started with pencil drawings then moved on to charcoal and oil paints. During my university years, I joined Atelier Alexandria, a government cultural center for arts, where I studied under professors from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University. After graduating, I ventured into stained glass art, working under the guidance of Dr. Mohamed Shaker, who was then a university professor and later became Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2005, I took free studies courses in interior design under the supervision of a professor from the Faculty of Fine Arts, as part of a government-sponsored program. From 2019 onward, I expanded my artistic journey by focusing on large-scale acrylic paintings. Currently, I continue to create paintings using acrylics, incorporating mixed media elements.
