Kadambini Choubey is an Indian fine artist whose practice is rooted in the timeless tradition of oil painting. Known for her refined realism and deeply evocative narratives, she works at the intersection of technical precision and emotional honesty, capturing the quiet language of human expression, gesture, and atmosphere in ways that stay with the viewer long after they leave the room.
Kadambini grew up creating. Art was never something she discovered, it was always there. After building a career in another field, she eventually followed what had always been true, and devoted herself fully to painting. That path, of choosing the thing that chose her first, quietly shapes everything she makes.
Her work is drawn to people. To the relationships between them, the emotions they carry, and the moments that define them without announcement. Her painting “The Night You Were Born” tenderly captures the wonder and weight of new life. “We See Humans but No Humanity” was selected for auction by The Big Heart Foundation, raising funds for children in Gaza at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, a reminder that art can carry a conscience. “Mizan,” meaning balance, was selected for the 8th Geoje International Art Festival under the theme Axis of Peace, and is now part of the Haegeumgang Theme Museum’s collection in South Korea.
Her work has been shown internationally at Aqua Art Miami, Art Shopping Paris, Art Santa Fe, World Art Dubai, the Tokyo Art Exhibition, the Ajman Biennial, Art Carnival at the Bombay Art Society, and the Indian Consulate in Dubai. She participated in Art Shopping at the Louvre in October 2025, and her painting was selected for the Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival 2025.
Among her international recognitions are the Leonardo da Vinci Award at the Biennale City of Cesenatico in Italy, the 1st Master of Art Prize at Caravaggio 2023, the Premio Oscar Della Creativita at Monte Carlo, and Honourable Mentions from the jury of the Museum of Americas.
