Leena Thawrani grew up in Dubai and became fascinated with its people and culture at an early age. She has been painting for as long as she can remember. Having lived in the UAE for most of her life, her work has glimpses of the Arabian and the Indian cultures, with a focus on inner strength and beauty. Primarily working with oil and acrylic paints, she has recently found satisfaction with charcoal paintings. Her favorite subjects are “nature” and “energy”. Regardless of the medium, Leena’s oeuvre is always the result of her main inspiration – life itself. Leena recently studied Fine Arts to enhance her knowledge of Art. She derives her inspiration from meditation and strongly believes that art can transmit radiance and positive vibes. She aims to do so by presenting her work at various exhibitions around the world.
