Lucinda has been creative since childhood. She has had her own graphic and website design company for over 25 years. However, Lucinda’s journey into the art world began unexpectedly, sparked by her natural talent for drawing combined with a deep tragedy in her life, she seeked tranquility and solace within the tangible canvas of the real world. Her artwork aims to capture the essence of beauty, humor, and emotion, often intertwining with the rich tradition and heritage of the UAE she holds dear. She delights in portraying expressions such as love, curiosity, and inquisitiveness, infusing life and legacy into her creations while avoiding excessive realism, so that they retain a softness that accentuates a nostalgic dream. Her artworks are predominantly pastel, but she explores acrylic and other mediums in her creative journey.
