I’m the fat giraffe, a Lebanese artist based in the UAE, turning bold features into icons and insecurities into art.
The fat giraffe is my alter ego — a maximalist mascot for self-acceptance and rebellion. She exists to disrupt beauty standards and make space for what the world tries to erase.
My portraits draw what society crops out: noses with attitude, faces that don’t ask permission, characters that feel like they’ve survived something and came back stronger.
This work is part self-portrait, part protest. It’s a celebration of emotional intensity and facial drama. Every line I draw is an act of reclamation. Every stroke dares the viewer to unlearn what they thought was “beautiful.”
You won’t find perfection here. You’ll find boldness. Humor. Vulnerability. And faces that take up space, proudly and loudly.
Artist Quote:
“The fat giraffe is my louder self, born the moment I chose authenticity over approval.
She draws with instinct and rebellion. Every portrait is a love letter to the beauty that dares to be different. My art begins where perfection ends.”
