Sana Waqar is an enthusiastic and challenge-driven Visual Artist/Textile Designer with over 10 years of training and experience from Pakistan. A Masters of Art and Design Studies graduate from Beaconhouse National University specializing in research driven practices with special interest in mapping, decoding abstract imagery and strategies employed in art and design practices. Waqar has participated in numerous freelance projects and shows related to visual art, critical writing and textile/print design. She has exhibited her work at both National and International forums along with teaching theory and studio courses at university level. She continues to practice as a visual artist after moving to the UAE in 2020 while exploring new techniques and mediums. Her work is about telling stories and capturing intangible experiences through forms, colors and textures.
