Often, we come across things in life which in hindsight feel like they were destined. My motherhood is responsible for re-igniting the artist in me. I had an unusual craving for colors during my pregnancy, urging me to pick up a brush and paint the canvas once and for all. The painting turned out good, gave me a different level of personal satisfaction. The fact that it was genuinely appreciated by my near and dear ones encouraged me to do it often, thus developing into a habit, which is now a full-blown passion! My family and friends have continued supporting me in this venture, and I draw a lot of confidence from them.My artwork is hugely inspired by Indian art forms, such as Madhubani and Gond, yet I try to incorporate other styles into my work. I have had fun working on canvas and now I have ventured into clay pot painting and fabric painting too. As an artist I always strive to have my individuality come out in every artwork, thus making each artwork unique and desirable. And, I would be grateful to share a piece of my heart's creativity with folks who have a taste for whimsical artwork.
