Abstract Acrylic Painting
This acrylic painting depicting Beirut after the devastating explosion in 2020 evokes a profound sense of loss, resilience, and hope. The broken cityscape with crumpled buildings serves as a stark reminder of the destructive power of the explosion and the impact it had on the lives of countless individuals. The sunken boat at the bottom of the sea represents not only the physical wreckage but also the emotional weight of the tragedy. Amidst the ruins, there is a glimmer of hope, the artist has used bright blues, yellows and red as a testament to the resilience and strength of the human spirit. It reminds us that even in the face of unprecedented devastation, life finds a way to persist and rebuild.
