The Gap is an abstract expressionist piece that delves into the universal theme of division and unity. The title symbolizes the mental and emotional barriers that separate people, whether by race, beliefs, or opinions. This painting reflects the essence of how a single step—tolerance—can bridge this divide and foster unity. The inspiration for this piece stems from the division that led to a civil war in my hometown country. The painting captures the complexity of human diversity: vibrant, colorful strokes represent individuals of all races and ideologies, while the gap, depicted as a single solid hue, emphasizes the stark simplicity of what separates us. This contrast highlights that the barriers we perceive are often less complicated than the diverse perspectives that enrich humanity. The technique involves bold, textured oil paint applied with a palette knife to create dynamic, tactile strokes. The black accents atop the colorful forms represent individuality and the shared human experience, further uniting the composition despite its division. This painting is deeply personal as it speaks to my hope for reconciliation and the belief that tolerance is the bridge to understanding. I want viewers to reflect on their own roles in bridging divides and to feel inspired by the beauty of unity amidst diversity.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
