Ganesha Mixed Media Painting
According to Indian Mythology, Lord Ganesh is associated with wisdom, success and good luck. He is known as the remover of all obstacles and lord of new beginnings hence the name Vighneshvara. Generally he is heavily ornamented, but in this painting I wanted to highlight the musical side of Ganesha. That is why his eyes are also dreamy and the main focus has been shifted from his jewelry to the sitar. The shloka is a very famous chant which helps in opening the blockages in mind and lets the person become more focused, creative, and wise. Those who get easily angry or have anger issues should chant the mantra. The painting is made with oil pastels and pastel pencils on an acid free pastel sheet. It can be framed on request.
NOTE: The image shown is a close up image of the Painting. The 2nd image shows the full painting, with the following images showcasing closeups of the artwork, detailing the work done by the artist.
