‘The Diver’ is one of Dominik’s most famous artworks across social media platforms. ‘The Diver’ to date has gained more than seventeen million views and millions of likes. It is by far one of Dominik’s most-seen pieces. The artwork is about diving into your own thoughts. The goggles are a symbol of the deepness and beauty of diving into your own thoughts. There was a need to create a piece that an individual could look at without feeling stared at by the subject. The viewer takes the role of observing the model without looking into their eyes.
The model Henry was chosen as he resembled the Hollywood star, Cillian Murphy. The subject was asked to try to express the idea of quietness within someone's own thoughts. The photo was shot in Dominik’s private studio in Germany. It was a four-light setup with beauty dishes and a lot of reflections. Two lights were positioned on the face and another two lights on the background. Dominik added a lot of water droplets to create reflections in the goggles and the skin with the goal of making the photo look three-dimensional. After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
