One of the richest visual objects in Tibet is the Tibetan Buddha. The Buddha in the painting with chakras, white lotus, and the white dove. This is a symbolic representation of the universe with purity in the mind soul.
Buddhism in general is made up of three different levels of practice. These three are known as Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana
Tibetan Buddhism practice is built around Vajrayana practices. Here I have used the mixed media effect with acrylic gold and texture paint to give a 3D effect. The incorporation of the chakras makes it calmer, yogic, and divine. The colors used are very rich Tibetan colors. The colors I have used are relating to the five elements - fire, water, earth, wood & metal (colors, black, blue, red, gold.)
The floral pattern on the Buddha’s costume was the inspiration. Bringing in together different forms of features like the dove, the white lotus, and the chakras was the prime importance given to the painting.
