This key was given to me by a prince I know. And a real prince indeed he seemed to be - in form at least, if not in substance. The prince did not show me nobility and good manners, but he showed me in detail how we create a mess in our minds. In detail, with examples, he clarified to me how dirty feelings - anger, greed, envy, arrogance, deceit and the like - give rise to dirty thoughts in the mind. What is this door through which vile feelings can enter the mind and desecrate it? This is the Ego: pride, arrogance, a sense of self-greatness and superiority. These states are symbolically reflected in the picture in the form of a crown, through which "garbage" falls into the head of our hero. And from this rubbish swords (wars, battles) rise in the mind and grow in consciousness. But our hero, our prince, is searching for something else. He, like me, seeks wisdom. He feels that he is on the wrong path. He turns around, looks back to see where the error occurred. But he doesn't need to look back - he needs to look into his heart. Is it pure enough to hear the truth? Isn't this wisdom - the ability to hear and agree with God? We can call it Life, the Universe, the Creator - it does not matter what we call it. We look at the root of things, and words are just a way to talk about something, they are not the point, right? To agree with God, quietly whispering any answers in your ear - just ask. To hear and bow in humility in the face of his greatness and love. To embrace power as service, and not as a means of raising oneself above others. To embrace power with responsibility, and responsibility along with kindness and love. Write it down and remember power without a pure heart affirms pride and tyranny. Recite it twice a day before morning tea and before bed - as a prayer for the hygiene of the soul."
