These vibrant blue and gold or green and gold macaws are native to south America and are widely popular cause of their vivid colors, their ability to do well in captivity, and their ability to learn tricks like a pet.
They live up to 65-70 years and bond very quickly to humans hence their demand in the marketplace has skyrocketed in the recent years. Habitat encroachment is another reason macaws, parrots, parakeets and similar species are facing decline in wild. Their decline has led to the birth of many campaigns to protect and restore their species in South America and all around the world. This painting was inspired by collective works of a photographer who spent days in the sanctuary studying them up close. The painting contains layers of feather details which was incredibly time consuming but the effort brings their glamorous details to life.
The macaw's lush colors are reminiscent of peaceful seascapes and tropical surroundings. 'HUES' Series - Hue is an important attribute of color that determines how each pigment is different and unique from others of its kind. Hue is a property that is dependent on its dominant strengths and intensity of tone. Every animal species boasts such uniqueness and similarity, the past two centuries homo sapiens have exploited their qualities because of which many of them may not make it into the next century.
This series of paintings seeks to inspire and remind us to appreciate the beauty and importance of each species. Each endangered animal painted throughout the collection is represented with its hues.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
