“Stillness, Bloomed” is a meditation on presence. In this minimalist composition of a white ceramic vase cradling vivid red plum blossoms, I explore the idea that silence, when embraced, can itself become a statement—more resonant than noise, more powerful than speech. What drew me in wasn’t the flower alone, but the contrast between bloom and background, curve and line, softness and strength. The plum blossom, a symbol of perseverance and renewal in East Asian culture, rises from the anonymity of the vase with quiet pride.
The image is composed in a vertical format with negative space intentionally used to draw attention to the subject. The composition follows a traditional ikebana philosophy: asymmetry, minimalism, and natural form. The soft cream-colored vase provides an anchor—rounded, solid, unassuming. From it rise gnarled, dark twigs, dramatic in silhouette, tipped with explosive bursts of red. Each blossom is sharply rendered, the petals illuminated against the deep black background like sparks in a night sky. The half-formed buds remind us that beauty is not just in full bloom, but also in potential. There’s a gentle diagonal movement in the twigs—dynamic but grounded.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.

For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
