The rich culture of Rajasthan is marvelous. The women dress up in their vibrant traditional attire and accessories; have been an inspiration to me as an artist. The Rajasthani traditional wooden artwork called Jharokha is the inspiration behind this mural. As an artist, I like to mediums in my works. In this particular works. In this particular work, I have used clay for the 3D work and canvas mounted on a wooden board for the central painting. I have incorporated Tanjore style with 24k gold foil in making the jewelry. A jharokha is a type of overhanging enclosed balcony used in the architecture of Rajasthan. Jharokha jutting forward from the wall plane could be used both for adding to the architectural beauty of the building itself or for a specific purpose.
